Cake Ideas?

The cake/gingerbread great hall might be too big to transport to the event from Philly (even in pieces). I am open to ideas. What would you like to see in a medieval Ace of Cakes meets food network challenge 2-4 foot cake?  I'll worry about the historically accurate part later.

I'd want to have a cake look like one of Playfords books on dance. But, that's far too simple for you. It's just something that would make me very happy.
