Armoring articles

If I were to write some costuming/armoring articles, what would you be interested in reading/knowing?

Also if you were to take a class on rapier armor creation, what would you be interested in learning?

It is easier to think armor first and then clothing. If you design the elements needed for armor, you can wrap the period clothing around it. It is a different way of thinking about costume construction.
