Is this a commoner's gown in parti-colors? Cause it's kinda cool.


And I could totally do one of these, given it's short sleeved nature.


And for as much as I dont like flemish... I like this shift. A lot.

Yes. Sort of.

I more don't like the fact that if you ask for lower class German or for German cooking you are pointed to "flemish". Its as if all of Germany is in that area. Part of it is that I like to do things that are different and not be done by lots of people.

It may be that my opinion may be clouded by what the current perception of Flemish.

I know mine is, about the same way "Elizabethan" is...I'm not that either. I am French.

Follow your heart, look to the paintings of other cultures for inspiration, see what and how they are wearing clothing. You will begin to have a good feel for what you are trying to do. Though it may be difficult to bring these ideas to the outside, explaining to other costumers, you'll know in your heart what was worn by your chosen women.
