Is this a commoner's gown in parti-colors? Cause it's kinda cool.


And I could totally do one of these, given it's short sleeved nature.


And for as much as I dont like flemish... I like this shift. A lot.

Yes, that kirtle is the one my yellow one was based on. Though I think Mona's idea of lacing ACROSS the center panel made it wear better by itself. Mine is still designed as the underkirtle to the Cheese dresses.

I might be tempted by the short sleeves and the 3 different shades of blue in the first dress. I can always add sleeves later, right? I think I like that it isn't "OMG FLEMISH", that everyone does.

But I am correct in gathering that it might be from that region?

And how is gown #1 laced? It looks like gold rings but it doesn't look like it's spiral laced. Are they some sort of ties?
