I think my projects need names. All of my sugar pieces have been named and most of Telescope_merc's rapier armor has been 'named'.

Any suggestions for a name for my happy little nomming chimera, who will be turned into cake and subsequently consumed?

George. (My father loved little kids; he always asked them if their name was George, and would tell them that no, their name was George if it was something else. Except for his next door neighbor named George, but I can't remember the teasing name he called George.)

Does my dress have a name? Should your stocking cap have a name?

By the way, I'm getting bored with flat knitting and changing color every four inches or so, so I've started putting in some thinner stripes as well. Do you have a problem with me putting in a few bands of multicolored goodness? I have a book on multicolor knitting out from the library right now that is begging me to try some of the patterns.

Nope no problem at all.

Your dress is the "Swan Dress", named after the inspiration piece. And I just got the spangles in yesterday. OOOO shiny.

Well similar to this.
