It is the time of year where I cook stuff. I am starting to get ready for Yule feast.I have been making stock. Lots of yummy, yummy stock. 35 lbs of turkey has been reduced to 3 gallons of turkey stock and 3 big freezer bags of shredded turkey. Several pounds of vegetables have been sacrificed to make a gallon of delectable vegetable stock. I have 2 big freezer bags of chunky apple filling which will be going in the Blaunderellys. And tonight I will be picking up venison to make Hijada.

The sugar project is moving ahead full steam. siobhan1214 came over to play with sugar this weekend. This year we are making the salamander medallion that will mirror the dinner scroll.

I am working on one sewing project for Yule, the new baronial A & S Champion's cloak. The applique is done, I just need to sew it down.

I will be loosing a weekend to RUM. But that's ok. I get to teach classes in sugar, costuming and making heraldic field clothing. Whee! I like the teaching part.

And then it will be time to clear the stack of stuff again. I have a sewing project and a sugar project for KQAS and I am cooking feast for Mudthaw (I may want to do a sugar piece not sure yet).
