Pennsic was pretty low key for me. I waddled,sat and repeat. I worked 3 watch dispatch shifts. And that was fun. First time doing that. I cooked Runnymede dinner with a bunch of amazing, talented people. I taught a sugar class which had 45 people.

And... I pillaged an egg from the great dark horde. I messed up the sugar recipe that I know by heart. It called for an egg white and a tbl spoon of corn starch. However the pillaged egg kinda scrambled in the bag so I had to go with a whole egg. Now an interesting thing happened. Since the chemistry changed, I ended up with a softer more pliable, still pure white mixture. AND I didn't need corn syrup. I want to play with it a little more to see how it dries. But yay mistakes that have + effect.
