[opinions] "Dress" diaries

What type of things are people looking for when you look at a "dress" diary?  More and more I am being asked to put a diary together as I am working on projects.  It is hard for me to explain what is going on in my head as I build garments.  Usually I'm on auto-pilot.  Sometimes I am just muddling through trying to puzzle how to get stuff to line up correctly.   And sometimes I don't know I've done something diary worthy until I'm already done. I've been trying to put the concept art along side some pics in progress and the final wrap up.  What else are folks looking for? Can you help me out LJ hive mind?  Please and thanks![Poll #1766857]
