The court of love went off without a hitch, at least as far as the food was concerned. There was very little food left at the end of the night. And what was left we sent with unicornpearlz to supplement the basket that has previously gone to the dancers. Nearly all of the food was period, sanguine in nature, and foods found in late period France. Thanks and food... )

I have started researching paellas and drinking chocolate. Fascinating things, Spanish foods. The Moorish influence on regional cooking are amazing. I will get to play with some of my favorite spices including saffron, cumin, cinnamon and cardamon.

Mmmmm... I will probably play with seafood and meat paellas. I will be working on two different paella (meat and seafood) dishes that would have been produced in later 16th century. This will allow me to avoid the seafood allergies/no pork for one and the avoid meat with the other. That should give me a wide range of audience to be able to partake and they should produce 2 very different flavor combinations.

Any volunteers for taste testing?
