I just bought 6 yards of lovely peacock blue silk (on sale for $3 a yard and yes it's real silk). Anyone have a good resource that they love for creating a Wulsthaube?
I'm working on a wulsthaube, too. Well, two. One uses a straw wreath for the base and is round like the housebook and Swabian ones. The other is grapevine wicker, soaked and compressed into an oval for a more Bayern style. I'll try to upload pictures as I go.
