There is something awesome about the bond I have with Cello.  She is by far the most loving animal I have ever owned. Or more accurately should I say, that has ever owned me.  Her favorite spot is to sit on my chest as I am working on the computer.  In her opinion, me having surgery is the bestest thing evar.



I know it looks like she is standing, but she is actually laying across me at full kitty extension.

But my being in layoff has given my own Little Girl Cat (aka Bug) no end of pleasure. To wit:
-Daddy's sitting on the computer chair! I can climb on his lap!
-Daddy's laying on the floor! I can lie on his chest!
-Daddy just picked up the phone for the first time all day! I must remind him I'm jealous and awake from a sound sleep to climb up his chest and rub all over his face and try to knock the phone out of his hand!

You just cant buy love like that. And on some of the craptasically bad days, I wouldn't trade one kitty snuggle for all the tea in China.

Both my cats love me being unemployed, but especially my girl. Twice today I had to kick her out of my lap so I could get something done.

I am fortunate I can work around Cello. She weighs less than 8 lbs and Im convinced 1/2 of that is all fur.
