alystenIts not evil. It's within period. People actually ate it. There are days when I think I am the only person who thinks it would be cool to play with this bird in an SCA setting. After all, we don't have a lot of large birds available to us. Last time I checked, they frowned upon us using swans and peacock.
Edit: And... its not as if I would ever serve potato or tomato... those killed people and were outright banned in most courts.
