Sewing prices
Sep. 1st, 2009 11:28 amI have invested in a starter stock of linen for pants, shirts, doublets and such. By next week I will have a total of 48 yards of fabric at my disposal. I will have a table at KWAR.I am thinking that will probably start out with the following price structure:
Linen shirt w/gussets-65
Ruffled linen shirt w/gussets -80
Doublet-75
Doublet- stripes-120
Pants, lined-70
Pants- horizontal or vertical stripes/lined-120
Soldiers coat--100
Cassock, basic-- 150
Cassock, heraldic/appliqued-- 200 start
Waffenrok- 200 start
Under helm hood--40
Cote/Gambeson- heraldic/appliqued--200 start
Basic Kirtle- 75
Sideless surcoat- 75
Basic/parti cotehardie- 100
Complete kits:
16th century, upper class- 500 start
16th century, lower class shift, kirtle, cap/hat- 175
14th century, shift, cote, hood/veil- 175
Rapier "standard": doublet, shirt, pants/skirt- 200
Prices are for linen. Other materials such as brocade, velvet, silk, and wool have higher price points and will be priced accordingly. Does this seem reasonable?
