- infection
- excessive pain (or lack thereof)
Being a cook, I'll assume you've dealt with burns more than once. If it doesn't look/feel right, then see somebody.

The section on treatment talks about going to the Dr. if you see signs of infection...."Check the burn every day for signs of infection, such as increased pain, redness, swelling or pus."
