My camera finally died today.  I guess a drop to the hard wood floor will do that to a little point and shoot, while the lens is extended. It has been limping along for several months.  Mostly having a problem with read errors with the memory card.  It needed to be replaced, but I was hoping to make it through Pennsic.  Today's pics of garb will probably be the last for a short while as I figure out my digital options.

My previous camera was a Nikon, which I also loved. Mainly since I take pics in low light, the high ISO is important. So far the Fuji's have the best resolutions at the higher ISOs.

I am a traditional photographer and have not gotten used to how light many of the digitals are. So I have stuck with film for "important" work and point and shoot for everyday stuff.

That is definitely one thing I noticed with the Nikon this afternoon, it's really light, even with the GIANT (this thing is huge, seriously) battery inside it. I also have a Rebel G2 film camera, big macro lens for it. Haven't used it in a while, as it needs new batteries, but that was definitely my first love. :)
