I haven't glued anything down yet, and he is a royal heraldic tyger. Thoughts?[Poll #1679072]

You certainly are insane enough to be a pastry chef...

But the EK arms came out so nice. They are drying right now and will go under the raised paw once I get to CT.

Not yet... I figure I can add the pizzle in CT.

I bravely resisted voting "Pudding!" (my usual choice), in favor of Crown! ;-)

Looks fabulous!!

BTW - please try not to get Laureled before April 9 - I would probably have a much harder time talking them around to that.

Perhaps you could borrow the sword of state for under his paw too!

I meant the REAL sword of state!
I don't have a picture though, so you're safe. ;)

I wanted to go for Crown, but couldn't resist pudding.

The sword of state looks like a sword.

I resisted pudding and went for crown but it was close, very close.

Don't get me wrong

I do not question the beauty of the art, merely the sanity of the artisan...

Hrm. I resisted the pull of Pudding and voted Crown - I like Sparky better that way aesthetically - but whenever I see Sparky portrayed around the kingdom (say, on our helmets for example) he's crown-less.
I think in this context he's better with crown, if he's going to be viewed with other regalia.

Having seen the sword of state and done some google noodling - it's a sword - 14th century broadsword in style - I'll try to dig up a picture - I think we have one from Ed and Meg's Excellent Adventure.

And FYI - a piece of advice I got from someone - (paraphrased) "If you don't want to be recognized, you'd better stop what you're doing." ;)

And yet... it keeps me out of trouble and if Im going to do something, my inner me has to be happy. I cannot do something only 1/2 way. I suspect you might be of the same mind. :D

The arms go under the raised paw? Like, the Eastern Tyger is about to walk all over the Eastern arms under?

More like he is holding them. Like one of the Foo Dog, the whole Kingdom is under his protection.

Though I may just leave the arms there on the board and put the sword of state in that paw.

This is a pretty good shot of it, I think - I'm still looking for a picture of the KRC holding it, because then I'd be certain it's the right one....

I've gone through all the pictures I can in a short amount of time, and I'm pretty sure that's it - all other pictures are rather fuzzy and indistinct though - but the shape is right.
