Music to A&S by

When you go to a fighting event/tournament, the fighters all have their iPods tuned to music to PUMP THEM UP for the day's activities.

What would you recommend to get pumped to for an A&S competition?

Depends on what I'm doing. Rammstein works pretty well when I have to focus on what I'm working on. If it's something mindless and repetitive, a movie works.

Edit: I think I failed to answer your question, but the notion of getting pumped for an A&S competition is foreign to me :)

This is a straight line, isn't it?

I like Blackmore's Night, personally.

Tonight I made the mistake of turning on the Sirius radio and now I have John Anderson's "Chicken Truck" stuck in my head. Not recommended.

I'm not sure about getting pumped for an A&S competition, but for doing creative/artistic things I like listening to Iona's CD The Book of Kells. They are a Christian band who made that record in the mid 90s, but they focus a lot on the imagery in the illuminations, and the medieval theme works. I also like listening to A Fine Frenzy and Shawn Colvin, too.

A straight answer

For a change...

Clannad's "The Ring"

May I suggest my personal favorite, Joan Jett's "Bad Reputation"

Now THAT's what I'm talking about!
