[project update] Sparky

Sparky is 95% done.  All I have left is the tail, Eastern Crown shield, his crown and I have to fix his 'lazy eye'.  I will do the crown and shield tonight, so they have time to dry. The tail I will do in CT.  It is too fragile of an object to do prior to the event.  The board is bright yellow, with gold dust. His head area is a darker blue than the body (done on purpose).





I still need to finish the sample disks. These show the progression of sugar buildup on the rice crispies.

Last up is the fire coat and 3 bits of documentation.  I still have 3 days...

It is gum paste and is applied via royal icing. It dries rock hard.
