I put armor on for the first time in 8 months. And it was good.

I put a blade in my hand for the first time in 8 months. And my heart sang

I played hit the smiley faces on the fency toy. And my body remembered.

I did 2 to 4 to 2 to lift to stab. And there was laughter.

I was able to stick the blade and "chase down" my opponent. And there was giddy joy.

My body ached in all the right places. And my soul rejoiced.

Last night I fenced. And it was glorious.
