San Bruno Explosion and Fire

This is what I woke up to in the morning news: Rescuers Search Rubble for Victims of Deadly Gas Explosion Near San Francisco.  This is less than 5 miles from where I grew up. So far friends and family have reported that they are ok.

California has declared a state of emergency and the Red Cross is seeking donations of any kind.  People wishing to donate items in person are asked to take them to the First Tongan United Methodist Church, located at 560 El Camino Real in San Bruno.

Some disasters hit harder when they hit home.
