The Pennsic Stack

Spring is here.  That means it is time for Pennsic costuming/garb planning.  You know the drill... if you are not on this list and think you should be, let me know.  Some of the projects are in progress, some need to wait until I can stand on my own two feet.

Tad: Field tabbards

Thomas: Something.  Not quite sure what yet Not by Pennsic.
Marion: two kirtles and two sideless surcoates

Griff: should be cleared up long before pennsic, but jik we need a place holder for something else

Design stages

I am working on Matt's new armor for the season.  Something garish and fun and well... something you can spot across the field.  All creative color combinations.

I am thinking the diagonal leg from this picture with the  flamed leg from this picture.  I haven't decided on a doublet yet (though it will probably not be black with red).

Wooo.

OMG... SQUEEEEEEE!

I should never be left unsupervised with a wireless connection and a 500 year old manual of "athletics"  and scary pants on a Friday night. 

I can totally see making a charlie brown patterned doublet.  While the pattern is on the leg, it could go on the top...

And he has an owl on his pants.  I could so put a salamander on the leg with the flames...

And then there are these.  I am almost speechless, but I want to figure out how to piece that together.

I think it is time to walk away now.
