This was a great weekend. The sun was shining, the birds were tweeting, and spring is starting to do its thing.  It is safe to say, that I am a happy kid.

Spent yesterday with 'the Boy' at Valley Forge. Not having grown up on this coast, I had never been to this site. I was all sorts of excited, and kinda one tracked.  I told telescope_merc, if we didn't get to see the cannons, there was going to be blood shed.  After lunch we did the driving tour of the park and got to see artillery park (which is the most cannon concentrated area).  We did the little trolley tour, which pretty much followed the same route as the driving tour, but missed the whole inner part of the park.  If we hadn't done the driving tour, I would have missed the cannons, and would have been a seriously sad panda.  It was great to get outside and do stuff.

Last night, I worked on projects. I have a cleared ironing board,  Her Highness' coat is done, His Majesty's waffenrok is done and embroidery is attached, telescope_merc's arms have a back and edging cut (for completion by Mudthaw), argent_tyger's cuff is progressing on schedule, and chicken has been cooked for jambalaya later this week.

Today was a lazy day of trying to figure out why the EK servers kept crashing, Bhakail A & S champions baldric embroidery, working on the EK redesign and fondue.  Mmmmm fondue.  Party of six descended on the Melting Pot in Center City.  I was thrown under the Bunny bus and was nominated to have my picture taken with the easter bunny (creepy costume, the bunny has no pupils). There was a boat load of food, great company and much fun was had. I had planned on working with sugar tonight, but I want to give the pieces that I currently have on the board more time to harden. Instead I am fighting with PDG software and spectrum-scientifics website. It is safe to say that I hate PDG software system almost as much as I hate SalesForce. I have also started the miles of flat trim that I will be adding to argent_tygers garb (that will go on quickly and I think look much nicer than piping.)

I got two new toe cozies tonight.  One is stripey and full of naailbinded goodness, thanks annys_wolf. The other is purple knit with extra long ties and skull and cross bones ties, courtesy of greenness.

And the weekend is winding down with a lap full of purring cat. I will post pics of the embroidery soon.
