Looking to barter with the knitters

I would like to barter with any of the knitters on my LJ. My foot surgery is on Friday. I have some socks that will cover a full cast (extra large man's re-enactor socks). However, it being winter and me being highly suspetiable to cold on my feet, I find myself in need of  extra protection for my toes.  The other thing I am looking to get is a sock in the shape of a large mary jane shoe (so I can wear them with my garb).

I am willing to pay or barter for sewn good if there is anyone out there than can help me.

I could teach you how to start socks from the toes up by just having you make several of just the toe part.

So you need some toesies and some sort of maryjane. That's very doable. For the MJ to fit right I think that would need to start happening after you have your cast on. Would you consider a knitted/felted pair of mary janes, one sized for your non casted foot and sized for your casted foot? We could play with puffy paint on the soles to make them non-slip. Just some ideas.
