Burn update
LJ ate the first post...
I made cookies on Saturday for BBQ hessians. The cookie sheet did not want to go back in the oven. Eventually I prevailed and was gifted with 2nd degree burns on my upper arm. Taking the requisite pound of flesh, the cookies came out beautifully.
6 hours at Hannanman hospital yesterday to be told I have infected 2nd degree burns. Yup... knew that...that's why I was there. 6 hours, tetanus shot, anti-bacterial goo, and a big ass bandage later, I and I got to go home.
Did I mention 6 hours? Hannanman hospital. Worst hospital ever. Worse than Alameda County General hospital, where they made me sit next to a guy with a knife in his shoulder for 2 hours.
