Sewing is easy

It the finishing work that takes 90% of the time.  I have been working on piping and buttons for argent_tyger's outfit and so far I'm up to 10 yards of piping, with no end in sight. When I need a break, I have been working on the glove/blackwork project and the wool kirtle/over dress project.  I have finished the kirtle, minus the lacing holes (again there's that finishing work...). I am pretty ecstatic with how the pleating came out. King's waff needs to be fit on the King and have the lacing holes and embroidery applied (yup more finishing work).

You and I would make a good team. I'm less into the bulk construction work. Whereas I find it very soothing to curl up in a chair and endlessly apply hems, eyelets, guards, etc.
